“In three thousand years of the history, people from all over the world have come and invaded India;… from Alexander the Great, the Greeks, Turks, Moguls, the Portuguese, British, the French and the Dutch.”
Dr. Abdul Kalam
With every new culture, India has diversified its cuisine and in return enriched theirs with the best of Indian flavours and spices. We reflect this is our name, VAMA, which means ESSENCE.
Here at Vama we do not pretend to cover the full history and diversity of Indian Cuisine as this would not be covered in over a 1000 items on the menu. We would like to consider Vama to be the pinnacle of North Indian Cuisine where a lot of the Mogul influence has enriched the already wonderful and exotic flavours
of the fertile Land of Punjab.
We believe our clients have entrusted us to provide the best; therefore all our food is freshly prepared to order and to the true traditions of North India.
We reflect this Mogul influence in the décor of the Restaurant where by each and every item is hand crafted in the same traditions as the Taj Mahal.
